A thing that observes us just as much as we observe it. Kanna [Jug] (2023) by Anette Folkedotter may at first glance look like an ordinary milk jug but on closer inspection we meet its gaze and the moment lingers.

In her practice, Anette Folkedotter often returns to relationships and social games between people. She likes to combine smaller installations of physical objects with paintings and allow them to interact. Kanna is part of such a larger artwork with several objects that are part of her book Musan i dungen.
The sculpture Kanna was placed at Forum Medicum, Lund University, in 2023.
