Choose the conversation you want to join. At the heart of Contemporary Art Days Summit 2026 is dialogue. The conference features six thematic discussion groups that explore urgent questions about the role of art in society—from public space and institutional change to learning, grassroots initiatives and dialogue itself.

All participants choose the theme they wish to explore in greater depth, becoming part of a shared exchange of knowledge where experiences, perspectives and ideas come together.

Topic 1: Cultural spaces as shared spaces: Re-tooling the commons

Topic 2: Instituting otherwise in challenging political times

Topic 3: Art in public space: who is it for, who is it from?

Topic 4: Stretching the “we” of art: Learning with communities

Topic 5: Reciprocal influences: Creative practices and grassroots organising

Topic 6: Daring to dialogue: embodied approaches to engaging each other
