Jag vill inte (I don’t want to) it says on some old roller blinds. The blinds have been adorned with printed texts when Anita Christoffersson reuses everyday objects and infuses them with new meaning.
The installation of sun-bleached roller blinds are printed with jag vill inte (I don’t want to). The fraying fabrics carry stories of the people who have used them, thus interweaving the universal and the highly personal.
Artist biography Anita Christoffersson
Born in 1943, Anita Christoffersson holds a BA from Lund University and an MFA from Goldsmiths London University. She lives and works in Lund.
