Starting May 9th, Public Art Agency Sweden will be displaying a selection of acquisitions from 2021–2023. Ballistic sculptures, embroidery on handkerchiefs, school photographs ,and the contents of a bathroom cabinet are mingling with futuristical 3D-modelled flowers. The art is contemporary and on the way to our public spaces to create more space for reflection and conversation in our time.
Public Art Agency Sweden has been acquiring artworks from artists working in Sweden since its founding in 1937. Through our purchases we are supporting and contributing to Swedish Art while continuing to ensure that art should be accessible for all.
Dates and opening hours
The opening is on May 9th, Our opening hours are the following Tuesdays: May 16th, May 23rd, May 30th, June 13th, June 20th, and August 15th, between 4 and 7 p.m. Free of charge.
