Friday, 16 October begins with three guided bus tours, offering participants the opportunity to experience art at various locations across Uppsala throughout the morning. At the same time, a wide range of exhibitions, guided tours and other cultural activities will be available for you to explore at your own pace. You can find the full programme below.
Choose One of Three Bus Tours
Bus Tour 1. Public Art in Focus – from Uppsala University Hospital to Rosendal, Ulleråker and Hospitalet
Discover Uppsala’s public art on a guided tour with stops at Uppsala University Hospital, the urban development areas of Rosendal and Ulleråker, and conclude with coffee and refreshments at the artists’ studios at Hospitalet.
Bus Tour 2. Creative Encounters at Hospitalet – Networking, Open Studios and Workshops
Spend an inspiring morning at Hospitalet, meeting local artists, visiting open studios, networking with fellow participants and taking part in creative workshops.
Bus Tour 3. Studio Kapellet – Artistic Practice in a Rural Setting: Sculpture Park and Performance
Visit Studio Kapellet in Östervåla for a guided tour of the sculpture park, an introduction to the organisation’s work, and a performance by artists-in-residence Afrang Nordlöf Malekian and TM Möller.
