Accommodation
We do not have an agreement with any specific hotel. Participants are welcome to arrange accommodation that best suits their needs.
Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to participate fully. If you have any accessibility requirements, please let us know when registering so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
Terms and conditions for registration and participation in The Contemporary Art Days Summit 2026
Fee
The participation fee is SEK 1,000. The fee is exempt from VAT. It includes lunch, refreshments and dinner on 14 October, and lunch and refreshments on 15 October. Travel to and from Uppsala, accommodation and any other costs relating to your participation are not included.
A limited number of places are available at a reduced fee of SEK 500 for artists and artist-run organisations. These are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis while they last, and the reduced fee cannot be claimed retrospectively.
The fee is the same regardless of how many of the three conference days you attend. We are unfortunately unable to reduce the fee for those who can only attend part of the programme.
Payment
You choose your method of payment when booking. Payment can be made by card, by Swish or by invoice.
If you pay by card or Swish, the fee is charged at the time of registration. If you pay by invoice, Statens konstråd/Moderna Museet will issue the invoice within one month of the Contemporary Art Days Summit in Region Uppsala. Payment terms are 30 days. Participants invoiced through an organisation must provide the organisation’s registration number and the reference to appear on the invoice. Participants from the public sector will be invoiced by e-invoice via the Peppol network.
Cancellation
You may cancel your place free of charge up to and including 20 September 2026 at 23:59 (CET). Cancellations are made through the booking system: select “View booking” in your booking confirmation and proceed from there. Only cancellations made through the booking system are valid. If the system is not working, please contact us at tickets@modernamuseet.se before the deadline.
If you cancel by 20 September 2026, no fee will be charged. If you have already paid by card or Swish, the fee will be refunded via the same payment method within 14 days. If you cancel after 20 September 2026, or do not attend, no refund will be given and any invoice already issued must be paid.
If you only wish to make changes to your booking, for example to choose a different discussion theme, you may do so subject to availability by contacting us at tickets@modernamuseet.se up until 20 September.
Right of withdrawal
If you register as a private individual, you have a right of withdrawal under the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (lagen om distansavtal och avtal utanför affärslokal). The right of withdrawal applies for 14 calendar days from the date we confirmed your registration. Please notify us at emilie.ackerman@statenskonstrad.se. If you exercise your right of withdrawal, no fee will be charged. If you have already paid, the fee will be refunded within 14 days of our receiving your notification.
If you register on behalf of an employer or as part of your business or professional activity, the cancellation terms above apply.
