The recipients of the Spotlights of the Year award have been appointed and presented at the conference Designed living environment 2024 – How should we count?. The award is given to actors who have worked in an exemplary manner with designed living environments, and this year, the light was directed at BY2030 – Kronobergs län, Avtryck för Framtid and Hållbara Hus i Västra Götaland.
– With the Spotlights of the Year, the four agencies, the Public Art Agency, the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning, the Swedish National Heritage Board and ArkDes want to draw attention to actors who, in their work, highlight the different perspectives of the designed living environment and spread knowledge and inspiration about consciously designed living environments, Jessica Segerlund says, Head of ArkDes Think Tank.
BY2030 – Kronobergs län, Avtryck för Framtid and Hållbara Hus i Västra Götaland receive the Spotlight of the Year 2024 award at the annual national conference for designed living environment, co-organised by the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning, the Swedish National Heritage Board, ArkDes and the Public Art Agency. The Spotlights of the Year shall contribute to spreading knowledge, good ideas and initiatives and, not least, inspire others in the field of designed living environments. .
