Art walk: Meet the art in central Stockholm

Take part in some of the public artworks in Stockholm produced by the Public Art Agency Sweden. This summer, in a series of guided tours with the title “Struggles, wills, creativity—meet art in the city,” we visit around ten public artworks. We tackle questions about how the art and places interact, how the places influence our interpretation of the artworks and how both the places and the artworks are part of different social environments and eras. The art walks are in Swedish, English and Farsi.

Meet art throughout the country

The Public Art Agency Sweden has produced approximately 2,000 permanent artworks throughout the country since 1937. Meet some of them and the artists who created the works in our app: Statens konstråd – audio guide. Here you will find the stories about the art in our public spaces, from the north to the south. The app is for free and is continuously filled with new artworks. You can download it on App Store and Google Play.
