Art in our living environment is a matter of democracy – everyone is entitled to experience art. Public art is art in our shared spaces or art that deals with issues of that which we share. Art can be an object. It can also be something that is not physical, such as a new perspective provided by a performance work. Working with public art is an enriching process for all involved.
By collaborating everyone can learn from each other. Each expert contributes their specific knowledge and opinions are weighed and compared. In the following, we describe various aspects of working with public art.
