Art & Audience – a mission for the democracy industry?

The book “Konsten & Publiken – ett uppdrag för demokratibranschen?” (Art & Audience – a mission for the democracy industry?) is released at the contemporary art fair in Umeå!

This book is a final report on the national KOP network, a forum for professional development, exchange of experiences and inspiration, relating to the encounter between art and audience.

The book includes recent examples of the challenges involved in presenting visual arts to audiences, and what audience strategy work can involve, along with research reports, reviews of past activities and visions of what the future may hold.

Among the members of KOP are Moderna Museet, the Nationalmuseum, Region Västra Götaland, Region Skåne, Riksutställningar – the Swedish Exhibition Agency and the National Public Art Council.
